RCA HD61LPW42 61" DLP TV

I have an RCA DLP TV with a DVI plug in the back. I just switched from a HUGHES HD reciever from directv to an HD DVR HR-20 reciever that has a HDMI plug on the back I have a HDMI to DVI cord but from the day it was installed I have not been able to use any of the other audio or video input on the tv. If I want to watch a dvd I need to unplug the HDMI from the back of the HD DVR and put it into the dvd player. I know they make swithers for that but I want my TV to be the way it should be. I have had a TV repairman and DIRECTV to my house but no luck.

Any help would be great!!!!!!!!!!

According to the specs you only have one input... you have to provide a switcher via either an HDMI/DVI switcher or HDMI digital video switching A/V receiver if you don't want to switch it manually.

Thanks Richard but my problems not me being able to switch from 1 hdmi to another, my problem is all my equipment to my tv uses (component video, s video or rca plugs) and none of those work any more the only input on the front or back of the tv that works is my DVI.

Was hoping someone with one would chime in with the answer...

Not familiar with RCA HDTV. From experience though your situation infers the ability to either turn inputs off or have them automatically detected; I'll go with turning them off which means checking for this in your TV menus. Got the manual?
