Getting "thump" on OTA station.

When I watch the local news, weather, sports on a local station I get on my antenna, there is sometimes an annoying "thump" that comes through in the audio, usually when a new graphic pops up on the screen. Anyone know what causes this and what I can do about it? :?:

It is the only channel I have noticed it on.

Analog or digital station?

It's caused by the switcher, don't know exactly why. When I get a chance to talk to some of TV engineers I will ask them.
