Very good, especially stadium spatial effect. Dolby ProAudio via medium high end surround audio. :)

I THOUGHT THE AUDIO WAS FAIR FOR A FOOTBALL GAME.

On DirecTV's FOXE HD channel, there were many times that the audio was out of sync with the video. Most noticeable on the recorded (off field) segments of the Superbowl. I'd have preferred to get HD OTA, but the Boston FOX station is apparently still broadcasting on low power.

5.1 sound was spot on.
The .1 really worked nicely on a lot of the FOX "special effects" transitions.
They were a bit much and distracting, but they looked and sounded good.

Fox 5.1 always sounds better than CBS for football. I am now just getting ABC, so I will not compare.
