Clocking in at 2 hours and 18 minutes it sure didn't feel that long. To the credit of the director and screenplay this story keeps itself moving without any boring points. I am not so sure about the ending plot being faithful to the time it is set in and seems more a construct of our modern times and the zeal of hollywood. What Captain Jack Aubrey did was unheard of and considered quite dishonarable in his time as a military man.
You won't be disappointed with the Oscar winning cinematography and sound editing supported by a great a screenplay definitely earning it's 2004 Oscar nomination for best picture!
