Comparing 3-D to 2-D television is like comparing background music to a concert on a high-end audio system -- it is not something you want to multitask with. Moreover, it is likely that few, if any, of those in the survey had ever really seen 3-D presented in the proper environment: a darkened room sitting at a distance of less than 1 1/2 times the size of the screen. In that environment, the glasses improve not hinder the experience -- because they help you focus only on the screen. When properly done 3-D is so superior to 2-D television that wearing glasses is no more a hindrance than sunglasses on a bright day on the water -- the benefit is many times greater than the inconvenience.
