Wow. That's an interesting leap, Alfred. Sometimes it seems as if you're very quick to predict a trend or an outcome.
But in this case, I'm going to have to call "hooey" on your entire hypothesis. Why? Because the cost differential of the Blu-ray player itself is not, and has not been for some time now, a significant factor in delaying the switchover. What you conveniently overlooked is
the cost of the media. It's the premium there that still has many clinging to standard DVDs. Heck, most folks that jumped on that "Blu-light special", will STILL be buying DVDs to play on it!
