Market-tracking firm NPD has issued a press release on digital video based on its VideoWatch Digital service. One of the interesting results is that digital video — either downloaded or streamed — now accounts for one quarter of all video watched at home. That’s a pretty stunning share of the total.

Even more stunning are the numbers for Netflix. According to NPD, Netflix streaming is responsible for more than 60% of the total digital video watched in U.S. households.

Ah, nope. NOT 60% of the total digital video watched at home, by a long shot, by your own previous statement. Try 60% of 25%, so 15%+. :oops:

All my home viewing is now digital (and 95%+ in HD), via OTA, cable, Blu-ray, and HD-DVD. And 0% of that is Netflix. Anyway, Netflix streaming has 60%+ of downloads & streaming digital video, not total digital video, as you claimed. You dropped a few key words.

I'd hate to see someone pick up your 2nd assertion and run with it.
