I would like to know the retail price as well, but Samsung is apparently not ready to announce that.

Can you tell me if Samsung's new BD-UP5000 dual DVD player has the capacity for the HD DVD (mode) to play 1080p media (like the second generation Toshiba players)?
I am assuming the Samsung BD-UP5000 will support 1080p in the Blu-ray mode, since this article says that this "Duo-player" is being released with Samsung's next generation DVD line-up.
But correct me, if my assumption is incorrect.
Thanks.
