When are these companies going to get an understanding of what we want. Does this bitstream all audio formats including DTS MA and Tru HD through the HDMI adapter? No? Then it is not for the audience that they suggest! Merely holding more storage is BS!

Totally Agreed with last post about Vudu not understanding what home theater enthusiasts want.

We want High Quality Video (1080P) and uncompressed audio (i.e. DTS MA). I saw nothing in their announcement that supports this. I have invested a tremendous amount in technology (i.e. projectors, Bluray, HDDVD, video processors etc.) and I see this as a step backward (not to mention the $1k price). On demand is great but not at the expense of sacrificing quality. Netflix next day delivery works just fine for me until one of these services gets it right.

I am holding my breath for the Xstream HD announcement on Tuesday to CES to hopefully deliver where Vudu has not. Xstream has mentioned 1080P and DTS MA in the past.

1080p they've got. Their audio is limited to DD 5.1.

I will have more answers for you on XStreamHD tomorrow afternoon.
