JVC is demonstrating an array of 3-D television technologies at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which opens here today. Technologies on display include a 3-D LCD monitor already on the market, an ultra high resolution high definition 3-D demonstration and a processor for the professional market that converts 2-D content to 3-D.

I have been an HD enthusiast for years.
I went to the CES back in the 80's when it was in Chicago.
I still clearly remember a High Definition demonstration on a front projection screen. One shot was of a deer in the forest. It has been burned into my mind since then how clear and amazing HD was. I was disappointed in HD for many years but I now feel it lives up to that movie I watched way back then.

Anyway, I feel 3D is being shoved down our throat. I saw Avatar and liked it and want it to succeed to keep the technology progressing. I wasn't amazed like I was when I saw my first HD movie at CES.

Am I the only one that feels that way?

When we can see a holographic 3d movie like in Star Wars then I will be impressed.
Please don't force this early adopter to buy something that is not that great.
