DIRECTV, the world's most popular video service, continues to deliver more full time HD channels than any other television provider in the nation with the addition of over 30 new HD channels. These new channels will begin rolling out in May and will continue in the following few months bringing DIRECTV's total HD channel lineup to more than 160.

This is inopposite to the article the day before it, that DISH has 200 channels.

Supposedly DISH counts channels that only broadcast HD part-time whereas DirecTV's HD channels are full-time.

Personally I'm tired of all these claims about who has the most. At this point it's almost irrelevant and really comes down to specific channels that someone wants and whether that one is available.
