Ray - DVD

Post by Richard »

The early years of one Ray Charles Robinson who would entertain the world.

The story starts from the beginning through his years with Atlantic and ABC records completely revealing the personal side of Ray Charles. A perspective I do believe has never been provided on film.

I suppose the greatest compliment I can give an actor is to say Jamie Fox who? That was Ray Charles on the screen and the Oscar is fully deserved. Wow...

Having not had much time to see many movies lately, "Ray" is one I now really want to see. Jamie Foxxs' acceptance speech at the Oscars leads me to believe that he is a most impressive guy.

Ditto on everything you said about this one Richard. Never once did I think how good Jamie Fox was, I just kept thinking how cool Ray Charles was. You're right about the extended version too, it was very poorly done technically. I ended up turning it off and leaving it off, a shame because I really like most extended version movies I've seen.
