In this article I addressed the basic differences between LG and Samsung’s 55” OLED panels, which were announced to be released later this year. Before CES 2012 a price range between $8,000 and $10,000 was rumored to be the most likely for both sets. Some said that the OLEDs may be offered for even lower than that, venturing a $5000 figure taken from a hat while the rabbit was sleeping, which I never thought OLED would be offered for that low price upon introduction in 2012.
