Mitsubishi WD73833 DLP RP - Flashing timer light

Post by goat »

Ok, now the 3 week old unit wont reset! I had to do some rearranging in the room so last night after I had shut the TV off, and after the cool down period. I had unpluged and plugged back in the tv in a different outlet. Went to bed, and this morning the green timer LED light was flashing fast. TV wouldnt Turn on, so I reset. Now still 4 hours later, green light still flashing, and no TV. Why does this always happent when support is closed? Lol! Any Idea's guys? C'mon Mitsu. Your making me look bad in front of my wife! She says good thing we got ol' stand by still in the garage! My 61" Sony, CRT. ugh!, She also reminded me.... Why did we just spend, how many thousands of dollars on this crap, and now she cant watch her recorded American Idol, and Dancing with the Stars!
Thanks to all..

There is an AC reset, unplug the TV for 1 minute.

There is a system reset - front panel, requires a pen or pin...

It takes about 1 minute for your display to boot up - that is the flashing timer light.

If won't stop then it is time to call service. :(
