As with any purchase of electronic boxes these days, you can and should read the entire spec sheet before buying. Most owners manuals are available online in pdf format, usually on the manufacturers web site . Find out if a piece of equipment will fit your needs and expectations. IMO, you should not buy a receiver based soley on connectivity and format availability, although they are surely a factor. The following article may help to evaluate what you are getting:
