mitsubishi wd-62527
I only have blue and yellow. No green or red. Is my lamp bad, if so, shouldn't I get a lamp light warning? First time buyer and I am not sure what is what. I bought t.v. used. Help!

It's not like there is an industry standard for these idiot lights, that would be too easy... not sure without looking at the manual...

idiot light
Hey Richard, I guess my question is, do I just need a new lamp? Is there any way of knowing other than spending a few hundred dollars on a new one?

dlp projector problem
The lamp is not an issue of color. The color is a function of the color
wheel in the light engine.
I sell these sets and they are problematic and frequently the home tech
person is unable to repair it. ....despite replacement of parts.
Many sets go bad within 5 months so the customer (Best Buy) gets a new
set.
Quality control is not there on anything chinese. If the set is not assembled
there the parts are.
I think you are at the end.

Re: mitsubishi wd-62527
Jose, did you find a solution to your wd62527 issue? Some of the earlier posts weren't on topic.. for one, there isn't a color wheel in this tv for it is an LCD tv, not a DLP. The helpful post was letting you know that the lamp wouldn't cause a color issue. I am very familiar with the WD62527 and would like to help if you still are having problems. I know the original post was a long time ago, but I just found this web-site.
