Plot ... After being hand picked to work for renowned operative Robert Hanssen, within a new division of the FBI called "information assurance," young Eric O'Neill is quickly confronted with the true reason behind his hire: Hanssen is the sole subject of a long-term, top-secret investigation. When the Bureau asks O'Neill to use Hanssen's growing trust and slowly draw the suspected traitor out of deep cover, he becomes engaged in a lethal game of spy-versus-spy and soon finds himself fighting to bring down Hanssen before the treacherous double-agent can destroy O'Neill, his family and the nation they are both sworn to serve.

Comments ... Chrs Cooper absolutely nails this part. The movie is worth watching for Chris Cooper's performance! It may be the best of his career. And despite the fact that we know the outcome from the opening scene, the story mains good tension thoroughout. This is a brilliant, intense movie. Highly recommended!
