Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum. Great resource here.
I'm have a problem w/ my 2-year-old Samsung 32" HDTV (It's a CRT). I've noticed recently that after I power on the TV, after about 3-6 minutes of viewing, the picture starts to lose it's clarity, and the color of my TV deteriorates. Darks colors are very dark, and some whites are very washed out. I originally thought it was a settings issue, but I've messed w/ the contrast/brightness ad nauseum looking for a combination. I then read that having speakers near a TV might affect some of the mangnetic properites of an HD....I moved the speakers, but I'm still having the problem. Any thoughts? Again, the picture is perfect for the first few minutes after I power on, but gets worse as I watch.
Help...my HD picture/color quality fades after warmup
