Picture has turned greenish and can't fix it.

Hi Everyone: :D
I am not sure if this is the right section to ask this question. I recently cleaned some of our remote controls (while the TV was turned on) and inadvertantly hit some buttons .
Somehow the colour is all wrong and we haven't been able to fix it by going into the colour settings.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? or does anyone know how we should fix it or do we need a technician.

One suggestion. Check your cables hookup to the TV to make sure one of the component cables have not come loose.

I am just guessing.........Richard may be able to help you when you post the model and TV type.

Good luck to you.

I'm too technical sometimes... That could easily be the problem...

Hi Richard and Mjm:
Thanks for your suggestions. Sorry I haven't got back sooner. My husband had Angioplasty on Tuesday so I have been really busy.
We did what you suggested and Viola the colour came back. They must have pulled out a fraction when I moved the cable-box to dust underneath.
Does this get me out of dusting in the future. :D

pixordia,

I am glad that worked. I have done the exact same thing before. Accidently knock a cable loose by cleaning or plugging in additional cables.

It is very easy to do. :D

I hope your husband is doing OK.

My dad this past Tuesday also had a heart procedure. He had one of his heart arteries blocked and had to have a stent put in. I just brought him home yesterday from a hospital in St. Louis and he is doing well.
