Wireless Speakers

Anyone out there using wireless speakers? Can wireless possibly hold a candle to wired? My neighbor wants to try some because of the layout of his room. Sony's I think. Is it the future or just an easier/cheaper install for a quick system?

Easier install is the key and for most people it provides enough performance to satisfy them. That said, you still have to get AC power to them...

If performance is your bag then you want not only hard wired speakers but also speakers that are voiced to work with each other in a multichannel application.
