A 13 year old girl, her widowed mother and grandmother are finding it difficult if not impossible to survive under the Taliban and Islamist fundamentalism that pretty much requires a man for you to survive as a woman. One night the grandmother suggests they cut the girls hair and present her as a boy for their security and the ability to get work....

This is a rough gritty movie that takes you there for the humanity of it all. Highly Recommended !
