Tivo spends all this time and end up introducing a product that that only stores 32 hours of HD and has only 2 HD tuners. My DVR from my local cable company already has 2 HD tuners and stores a lot of HD programs and only costs $15/mo, and I can trade it in on a newer model, which I've done, twice. Also, everything that is really in programming features isn't on the debut version, and some things which are currently offered aren't there. I'm beginning to question if the genius that brought us Tivo in the first place has drifted into dementia.

It has an "E-SATA" port "for future use" listed in the specifications. I assume this is an external SATA port for adding additional storage, but have not confirmed it.
