Kevin meets Charlotte and falls in love. He brings her home to meet his media successful mom and everything seems to be hunky dory until out of the blue he proposes marriage and Charlie accepts. Mom becomes a Monster in an attempt to drive Charlie away. Wanda Sykes shines as moms down to earth assistant.

Great acting fills out the parts in yet another version of parents versus the prospective new member of the family. The mean spirit of this one is along the lines of Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers without the daffiness that Ben stiller portrayed. If you liked those you will likely find this one as good.

The mean spiritedness though wore on my wife proclaiming about 1 hour into it that she did not like the movie. In many ways I agree. For us, Guess Who still stands as the best of this genre.

Due to the cast this one is Recommended as I certainly did not feel it was a waste of my time.
