This movie consists of 5 stories about women and life played by Glenn Close, Cameron Diaz, Calista Flockhart, Amy Brenneman, Kathy Baker and Holly Hunter. It is art in that there is some interconnection between the characters in some of the stories and one character in all of them that ties them together. While there is nothing profound here each segment was worthy of my time and greatly portrayed the humanity of it all. Consider it 5 slices of life that can be thought provoking.
