Chili Palmer and Tommy Athens are a couple of wise guys who gave up the business to make it in Hollywood which they did. Problem is Chili is fed up with Hollywood and talks of yesteryear yearning for the old days of dishonest honesty. As a Hollywood wise guy he decides there is no better place to get back to his roots than the music business!

This was a very fun movie, lots of cameos with twists and turns all along the way. While Travolta and Keitel excel in their wise guy roles as expected there are three other characters that are awesome and make this film a delight. Cedric the Entertainer as record mogul Sin LaSalle struggling between his wish for a nice quiet Beverly Hills life and the gangsta that he really is, Vince Vaughn as Raji the white guy who acts like a gangsta yet is dumb as a box of rocks and the Rock as Elliot, his gay thug struggling for a career in pictures.
