Ben Gates has a well known family history in academic circles going back a few generations as the crazy family in search of the great lost treasure of the Knights of Templar which they claim our founding fathers were secret members of who had the treasure hidden in America.
While the search for hidden treasure is an old formula there are a enough twists, turns and humor to make this one stand out supported by a great cast with a memorable performance from John Voight. If you are an American history buff you will appreciate this flick even more with Ben Gates delivering a great interpretation of what the Declaration of Independence stood for using our modern language.
