The Portuguese HDTV Forum has the mission to promote HDTV through his web site into Portuguese audience with detailed information over possible options available to consumer to watch HDTV from the HD sources to HD displays.
Forum will help foster creation of more HD productions from Portuguese Video Producers and National Broadcasters to expand HD content archives and promote their International Trade.
Forum will encourage the promotion of Digital Cinema through seminars and demonstrations using latest technologies to create new D-Cinema screens within Portugal.

Forum will organize Conferences to keep all parties involved from Professional to Institutional and Media updated with latest developments of HDTV in Europe and latest technology news.
Forum members are Manufacturers of HD Domestic and Professional equipment, National Broadcasters, Cable Operators, Satellite Operators and Government Bodies involved on Broadcast Regulation.
