TV: Power light/other light flashing - no sound or picture

This common symptom typically denotes shutdown and requires repair. Depending on the brand you must either press power again or unplug the product and plug it back in. Either way you will note it appears to turn on but within seconds the power light or other light is flashing and the TV is not turned, no sound or picture. In some cases an AC reset will get the TV running again. If this does not heal your troubles it is time to call service.
