I've been saying this for several years, but I'm not so optimistic and I do not view algorithms that mess with the resolution as positive. Note that this is not *free* content that so many worry about. OTOH if bandwidth causes a few streaming video dropouts I do not view it as "the sky is falling". Annoying? Yes, but not a calamity.
