The factors of brightness/darkness on two bullets toward the end may require more information as to how the comparison was made but actually Samsung is mostly addressing verifiable technical features that are correct in their specific claim, rather than using the aggressive approach LG took the whole year 2011 claiming their 3DTVs are in general superior because many viewers preferred them on their controlled demos, and publishing ads saying to Samsung and Sony to go sell 2D instead, to which NAD objected (after the companies complained).

The ball game was started by LG and got most of 2011 on doing it, now they do not like it when others are responding with mostly true technical facts. Both 3D technologies should exist for the different requirements and preferences of consumers, this should not have started by LG the way they did but rather as an alternate technology some people may need to watch 3D.
