Philips 47" 47PFL3704D/F7 - Wii Accident, No Video
Hi guys, I have a Philips 47" 1080P TV. Recently a wii controller hit the screen. The screen is intact and shows no signs of damage (cracks, scuffs) whatsoever. Unfortunately, I no longer get video from this TV. Powers on, sounds work, but no video. What do you think might cause this? P.S. The screen is just a black screen, seems no power is going to the screen. Thanks for all your guys' help!

If I would be you I would try using all the inputs, including antenna, to see if the problem is spread to all of them or just a single input, tuner, conector, wiring, source device (DVD player, video game console, etc).
If the problem is apread I would take note of all the settings and do a manufacturer reset of the TV, if it has one. If that restores the image then I would reapply the settings to the corresponding inputs.
If the problem is not solved I would then search for info in TV owners forums (not that I am fan of AVS but if you read just the owners posts for that model it could give some ideas, perhaps you are not alone).
At the end I would contact customer service and evaluate if the TV is worth a service call, assuming is not in warranty. Philips left the TV manufacturing business after they abandon their 3DTV business, so that may complicate things.
Good luck,
Best Regards,
