My mother won an awesome package: Samsung 46" 240 Refresh Rate LED 3D TV (UN46C7000). Samsung BluRay Player (BDC5900). Bose CinemateGS Digital Home Theatre Speaker System.
She already has Digital Cable. Now for hooking up with cables, she went to a place to get cables and they wanted to sell her these cables:
1) 2 Monster Cables 500HD For HDMI (4M) 1080P 8-Bit Color. One for the BluRay player. One for the Cable Box. ($89.97)
2) 1 Monster Fiber Optic Cable (400DFO) Advanced Performance Fiber Optic Cable. ($49.97)
She passed on them because she thought the prices were extremely high. Good thought. I'm not too savvy on this stuff, so I thought I'd come here.
Any recommendations on compatible cables and where would be a good place to get them?
Thank you,
RDR

I think your mother did the right thing. If you don't need those cables longer than about 15 ft., most any good quality ones will work. Keep your receipts in case you need to return any and try another. Here is one reputable site. I would bet you won't have any trouble with these cables:
