Now this is taunting as hell and something I wondered about; will anybody ever make a dedicated 2.35 aspect ratio display? Wow, somebody really did it!
That said, being all about video standards, I have a myriad of questions...

Either model is 2560x1080 yielding 2.37 using square pixels and I suspect square is what it is.
So that creates one concern; 1:1 pixel mapping will not work and the quality of scaling will be very important. The good news is the scaler will have 2560 to work with left to right and that is NEW. I remain intrigued!
