Vizio biggest problem has been service in and out of warranty. About a year ago they contacted NESDA to create a national network of professional authorized service centers. Not much came from that and it appears they took a different and less expensive route; hiring contractors who do PCs and office equipment at super cheap rates.
In some ways Vizio service has improved because now there is some form of national service yet it lacks in professionalism and knowledge. Back ordered parts remain a big problem.
If your product never requires service I have heard good things and they even provide a decent calibration.
If you are looking for reviews Cnet does a good job but you will need a model number.
