Sony details PS3 3D, Blu-ray 3D requirements

Sony Corp. this week detailed consumer requirements to take advantage of new 3D technology on the Playstation 3 and the hardware’s Blu-ray player.
PS3 game titles will require only a firmware update to utilize new 3D technology. A separate firmware update later in the year will add 3D to Blu-ray movie playback on the hardware.
