I have a Mitsubishi DLP that has required service several times. Mitsubishi has finally agreed to replace the TV. The first TV they offered lacks many of the features that the TV I bought has. So I called them back and asked if they could do better. They then offered me a TV that is not out yet, so we would not receive it until sometime next month.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Mitsubishi replacing a TV. I really don't know what to expect and any advise is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sophie Lewis

Well, as anyone will ask, what is the model # of the DLP Mits that has required too much service?
The implication is that Mits is unwilling or unable or reluctant to replace your TV with same. Is that part true?
What features did their replacement model lack that you would truly miss?
What is the "new" model they are suggesting that you wait a month for?
Just need far more detail, that's all. For example and for interest, what is the issue with your model that could not be fixed?

PS
I've owned a Mits 65" CRT RPTV since 2002 with zero problems but CRT was their hay-day and forte back then.
