NBC OTA

Anybody else having numerous video and audio freezes and stutters with NBC HD OTA on a D* DVR? Mine is the HR20-100. Saturday Night Live is almost unwatchable. At first I thought it must be weather related but not so sure anymore. No other channel seems to bother. It also happened during the Olympics and some during the Ryder Cup golf.

It's probably reception of your local NBC station. DirecTV is probably receiving that signal with an antenna as opposed to a direct data link. I've seen that on one of our Atlanta stations from time to time. IIRC it comes across as green pixellation and looks different than a satellite signal problem.

Have you tried rescanning the channels with your DVR? I was experiencing the same thing recently with the local NBC with OTA on my DVR (though the tuner on my HDTV picked it up just fine). I rescanned the channels on my DVR and now the channel is picked up normally again.
