True enough. I cut the cord about two years ago and have followed pretty much the same strategy. My major concern is HBO. HBO doesn't let any streaming happen until the DVD comes out. That means that season 2 of Game of Thrones is STILL unavailable unless you are already a cable subscriber. And I intend to pay for it, as I did season I (on Amazon). I had heard some talk about a class action suit against HBO for that bundling policy (you have to subscribe to cable in order to subscribe to HBO) but nothing recently.
