Why do channels change when I'm not looking?
In my market, 21.1 is the sports channel for channel 11.1, but the other day, keying in 21.1 brought up a Spanish-language channel I'd never seen before. I could restore 21.1 only by running the automatic channel-search. It found about 70 channels, and I had to run through the list and "hide" most of them -- namely all the Spanish channels and a few others. This sort of channel-switch has happened on other channels, too, although not on the four major network channels.

Hello and Good morning, {and, '..welcome!..'}
You are obviously utilizing the HDTV's internal "QAM" Tuner as the reception vehicle.
That "Station" gets-to-decide what / which Programing that they use to broadcast over their many assigned frequencies!
It is NOT unusual for them to "switch" between their Total Assortment every ~ ~ 30 days or some such!! .... You simply need to remember to re-scan or "auto program" more ofter!
eli ... goggle or ASK the topic ".. QAM .." for more details!
