Dish Network offers remote viewing on iPad
iPad viewing is not enough to sway poor rain fade performance, bad customer service and unprofessional technicians.

I have not found your comments to be true and have been with DN for 11 years. The remote viewing via Slingbox on my Android phone and laptop work very well. If you are having rain fade, you probably need a bigger dish. I have always found DN customer service to be responsive and helpful.
