Thanks for pointing that out!Clearly, the retailers are getting serious about moving their clogged inventory.
We are definitely seeing deflation in TV sales for the last 2 years. It is astonishing how low they have dropped. After the 2009 holidays the prices went back up and here we are again. Both manufacturers and retailers have been taking losses to move inventory although the the retailer can make some of it back on extended warranty sales. Either way, it is a loss of profit and something or someone is taking the hit.
