3D Blu-ray players have dropped dramatically in price since their introduction this past April.

Hardware company caused the content shortage with their exclusives and now they'll take losses on both end of the equation and wonder why!?!

This does make me wonder if this is a sign of the beginning of the end for 3D. I'm guessing that sales weren't as much as manufactures wanted and it's now time to unload.

I don't think we're seeing the "end" of 3D, but I think it will remain a deep niche segment of HDTV until they can get rid of the $*#! glasses!
