OPPO BDP-80
Has anyone tried this? Any comments on how it compares to their other models?

I have 2 BP-83's. This uses the core BluRay drive and chips from the 83 - it is fabulous. The BP-80 does not use the same case nor SD DVD upconversion chip. But, reports on the AVSForum are that it is just about as good as the 83 - which is arguably one of the very best. Oppo is known for it's customer care: personal, fast, smart, complete. And great packing - sounds silly, but you get what they are about the moment you open the box. For further gushing and excitement, see the AVSForum.com.
