Watchmen on Blu-ray

Post by Dave3putt »

I recently viewed this one from Netflix. My discussion point here is not really the movie itself, although it was about what I expected. A little too much action. The biggest surprise and most memorable part for me was to hear S&G's "The Sound of Silence" in DTS HD Master Audio. That was a treat. It's nice to see some of the golden oldies (IMO anyway) getting out there for younger generations. I wonder how many 16 year olds asked "What was that song?" when they heard it. :)

Well, except for the sex scene with the Leonard Cohen HALLELUJAH song...that was laughable. But I'll still be buying the extended edition of the movie when it comes out (next month?)
