DTV Converter Boxes
Even though you have a HDTV, you might want to use a Converter Box in order to have a good program guide. I have an RV parked on a seasonal lot in Wisconsin. Great PBS programming is available over the air from Madison, WI, which is not availabe via Dish Network. My two digital TVs do not have good progam guides. Therefore I use the Converter Boxes connected to the TVs via yellow, white and red cables in order to use the DTVPal's great program guide.

DTV Convert program guide
Interesting tip! I haven't thought about using a DTV converter just for its program guide, but that's a clever idea. I use the program guide mostly to choose which programs -- if any -- to record, so the converter box wouldn't help me automate that process, but as a straight programming guide, it could be worth it. I'll have to give it a try.
