North Carolina: Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area

I live about 45 miles from WUNC in Chapel Hill - our nearest PBS station. When the digital changeover occurred, we could no longer receive WUNC at our location. A query to the station revealed that a scheduling problem with the contractor who was relocating their antenna resulted in them running at reduced power and at a much lower antenna height. They were recently able to get the antenna raised, thus restoring reception in our area, but they're still running at reduced power. The problem should be solved in September, but meanwhile reception in fringe areas is still spotty. A modest VHF/UHF antenna at 35 feet at my location now provides a solid signal, but we had no signal at all when their antenna was at the lower elevation.
