LG Electronics Delivers First Broadband HDTVs That Stream Instantly to Netflix Members

Building on its 18-month alliance with Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) , LG Electronics has introduced yet another industry first with two new series of Full HD 1080p HDTVs with Netflix instant streaming software embedded directly in the TV and requiring no external device.

First announced at the 2009 International CES(R), the first of the new sets - a 47-inch class* LCD HDTV (model 47LH50) and 50-inch class* plasma HDTV (model 50PS80) with NetCast Entertainment Access - are available now at national retailers.
