They say a good sequel has to up the ante, it has to be better than the first... I had not seen this in a very long time and forgot just how well Tim Burton succeeded at accomplishing that goal.
First off, Danny Devito, the costume and make up department, provides us with the ever sick, gross, criminal and revenge seeking Penguin.
Michelle Pfeiffer delivers a superb performance depicting the fall of Selina Kyle into schizophrenia becoming the vigilante Cat Woman lost between the weak woman she was and the merciless tiger she has become at night.
While Batman knows the Penguin is a bad apple with an evil plot waiting to be revealed he can't quite figure out the new lady in black or the sexual tension between them.
I totally forgot about Christopher Walken playing the role of cold hearted evil business man Max Shreck who ties all of these characters together. The sequence of events where he pushes Selina out the window (her life changing event) of his high rise office building is quite memorable...
The last time I saw this movie looking this good was... in the theaters in 1992!
