What's with WFN???

Post by jerfilm »

Not that I would watch it often anyway, but I see that one of the new "HD" offerings from DishNet is a channel called WFN - for World Fishing Network. I've flipped on to this channel numerous times since it went on and have yet to see any HD content at all. Why do they keep doing this to us? Have they been watching the politicians on Fox News and MSNBC and learned new marketing habits? The way they count new HD channels sort of reminds me of how some candidates count popular votes.......

Sad, isn't it.......

It is... we get a new HD channel called IFC and they are applying a non linear stretch to all SD programs permanently destroying the aspect ratio. I guess we need a future aspect called reverse non linear stretch.
