CV cables VS. HDMI

I just upgraded to an HD satellite receiver. I am just running the CV (RGB) cable that came with the receiver to my TV. Picture is excellent in HD programming. I have ordered on Ebay a Monster Cable DVI-HDMI cable to replace the CV cable. The receiver only has a DVI output, so I had to get the conversion to HDMI cable. Does anything think I will see any difference in picture quality with the HDMI versus the CV?? I have HDMI running to the TV from my DVD upconverting player, and it's great. Just wondering what to expect, if any better picture at all. I guess if anything, a few less cables. Thanks.
